I got a gift from some parents today. For awhile I was working with first graders and there was a seven-year-old in the class with two younger brothers. On fridays, I would go downstairs and work in a baby room with his youngest brother (13 months… I think ) A couple months ago I was asked to act as an assistant teacher in a preschool room and now I work with their other brother (4-years-old). I couldn’t get away from these guys. His mom thought it was funny that I worked with all her children. That doesn’t happen very often. Well anyway I got gift card and a christmas card with a picture of the three boys. I wish I could post this picture it’s waaay cute but I’m trying my best to uphold their privacy.

This one kid kept talking about Santa Claus today. I think he knows Santa is watching so he’s trying to be extra good. He can be a terror sometimes but I love him. Today, he said he needed someone to play Santa Claus. I was the only person in the room with a beard so I was chosen by default. He said this today while handing me a bowl full of multi-colored counting bears.
